Honest takes on small games, each ending with a score out of 5. We say what a game does well, where it stumbles and who it is for.
Read the reviewsSpawnzone is an independent home for indie PC games: honest reviews, devlogs from the people building them, and lists that help you find the next game worth your evening.
Hundreds of new PC games appear every week. Most players only ever hear about a handful of them. The rest, often the smallest, strangest and most personal, sink without a ripple.
Spawnzone exists for those games. A small budget and a big idea should be enough to get seen by the players who would love them, and a good review should be a reason to try something new, not just another score on a list.
Spawnzone goes live as a small blog about indie PC games, with one simple rule: write about games because they deserve attention, not because they are big.
Posting slowed down and then stopped. Rather than keep a half-alive site running on autopilot, the decision was to step back and rebuild it properly.
The site returns rebuilt from the ground up: a new design with a dark mode, reviews scored out of 5, devlogs, curated lists, reader accounts, likes and comments, and an email list you can join.

Read the reviewsBehind-the-scenes stories from the people making games: the dead ends, the late-night fixes and the moment a prototype starts to feel fun.
Curated picks to browse by mood and genre, for the nights when you do not know what you want to play but you know how you want to feel.
If a game already has a marketing budget, it does not need us. We would rather spend the space on the ones that do.
Reviews and their scores are never for sale. Sponsorship can buy visibility, never an opinion, and anything sponsored is clearly labelled.
Spawnzone does not sell games. There are no prices to chase and no cart, only reasons to play something you might have missed.
