See how two teams of heroes pulled from the Marvel Rivals roster duke it out to fix a terrible time rift.
Marvel Rivals Will Receive an Official One-shot Comic
We all know that Marvel is famous for the multiple timelines its stories are based on and it looks like Marvel Rivals is about to add yet another one. That’s because a new comic book featuring characters from the playable roster of the game is on the horizon.
Inspired by the shooter’s lineup of heroes and villains, the comic book depicts an epic battle between two squads of characters. The book collects all six issues of Marvel Unlimited’s Marvel Rivals Infinity Comic which will be printed on paper for the first time in April. Written by Paul Allor and drawn by artist Luca Claretti, the new Marvel rivals comic book is a must-have for fans of the shooter. Of course, even if you’re not yet into the game, perhaps this art piece might change your mind.
What’s the Comic Book About?
As with other Marvel stories, this one also starts with a time rift opening and flinging our heroes into the future. It’s 2099 and the protagonists are dropped in Tokyo, and their new goal is to fix the strange time warp that has befallen them.
However, conflict arises when there’s disagreement on how exactly to do that. One group, headed by Peni Parker, aims to connect the Web to Cyberspace in an attempt to fix the issue. However, the other group, led by Spider-Man, supports a more cautious method of using Chronovium to reinforce the web, enabling it to self-repair. It’s not long before the two sides come to blows.
