The return of S0 Chronovium in Marvel Rivals is official! It is already in-game, and players can.
With the rapidly increasing player base of Marvel Rivals, many of the newcomers were seeing the OG skins from Seasons 0 or 1 and were saying, “God, I wish I could start playing the game even earlier,” me included. Well, the developers decided to celebrate the success of the game by adding Season 0 Chronovium back in-game for a limited time. And not only that, it came for a steal of a price, because it costs only 590 Latice, which is an amazing price for all the content inside.
The Good and the Bad Side of the Return of Season 0
For sure, that has sparked a lot of happiness for the new players and a bit of gripe for the OGs of Rivals. As I said to myself, when I saw what an amazing skin for Mantis I had missed, I regretted the fact that I was not one of the first to play Rivals too, but there was nothing to do, so I just passed it on and continued playing. When I got into matches and there was a player with it, I immediately knew that we had an experienced veteran in the game.
What I mean by that is that for quite a long time, those skins were a symbol of prestige and dedication to the game. Because now, people will not know if you are playing the game from Season 0 Chronovium or S2 Flowers of Krakoa. We saw a similar thing in Fortnite back in 2024 when they decided to add the OG pass with skins like Renegade Raider, and I am only hoping that Marvel Rivals will be missed by the backlash of its first players.
But if we look at it from the bright side, now there is a chance for people like me to lay hands on missed battle pass exclusive skins and cosmetics. Following what is happening now, my predictions are that we could see the return of other previous seasons as well. Another good thing to point out is that this way we can purchase those missed battle passes and support Marvel Rivals.
In conclusion, I can say that I am purchasing it at any cost, because Mantis is one of my main characters, and I really like her. I am only hoping that the return will be well received and for Marvel Rivals not to lose its OG player base.
